Service Description: This map service features scanned, georeferenced historical aerial photography collected in the spring of 1962. The scanned images are panchromatic (black and white) and have a spatial resolution of approximately 4 feet. While the original prints are archived by the Rhode Island Statewide Planning Program, the scanned images are available from the Rhode Island Geographic Information System (RIGIS) consortium (http://www.edc.uri.edu/rigis). This map service is published by the University of Rhode Island Environmental Data Center as part of its Rhode Island Digital Atlas initiative (http://www.edc.uri.edu/atlas).
